Mendocino rejects nonlethal wildlife management and approves program to kill cougar, bear, and more

On December 17 the Mendocino Supervisors voted 3-2 to contract with the UDSA’s Wildlife Services program to manage human and wildlife conflicts. The controversial Wildlife Services program kills millions of animals a year nationwide, and an average of over 400 animals annually in Mendocino County. Dan Young reports.
